laurel hell was good

 

I like laurell hell but for me its a massive step down from the previous 3

 

I was initially a little disappointed in laurel hell but after seeing her twice on the tour for it, it grew massively on me

 

was just listening to laurel hell last week, i think it’s great

 

Also think it’s better than Cowboy sorry

 

I don’t think Laurel is better than Cowboy by any measure but I do sincerely want to be the kind of absolute bad ass that thinks so.

 

I thought Laurel Hell was to fulfill a contractual obligation and afterward she'd be gone for a while? Excited, of course, but hope she's in the right headspace to go through the cycle again of promoting another album so soon. She doesn't seem to like the whole being a public figure thing. Recently saw a tiktok reminding me of that time crazy shit was being spread about her on twitter X and how that must've taken such a toll on her mental health at the time

still waiting on Merchbar to deliver the four Mitski vinyl I ordered during their sale (although tbf one was backordered)

 

I love Laurel Hell! Should’ve been me, love me more, stay soft, only heartbreaker, heat lighting, working for the knife!

it does have its forgettable moments though

 

hoping this one works for me

 

She can do no wrong to me, and I completely understand why she would want to stand out of the public eye, her fans are batshit

 

Album title goes hard let’s hope the music goes even harder

 

I thought Laurel Hell was great even if it wasn't up to her own standards. And seeing it live definitely takes it up an even higher notch. It's not as good as the 3 before, but it's still a worthwhile album.

 

I loved Laurel Hell, absolutely stoked for this.

 

Laurel Hell is good, but the three records before it are all instant classics imo. It just doesn’t measure up.
