i think it's a lot less hook-y than makeout creek.

 

I'm so sad this leaked so early. I loved what I was able to hear of it.

 

i would like to suggest that this album is packed with hooks

 

Super into this so far

 

didn't grab me as much as I hoped but I'm sure it'll grow on me big

 

Played once, is great

 

I mean I remember the exact moment I heard I Don't Smoke the first time. I was on a bus and felt every part of my soul ached. It hit me like no song had. Makeout Creek means so much to me it feels unfair to judge this against it. But it's hard not to. It's a great album so far but I haven't had that emotional connection yet. I'm hoping and assuming it's going to grow on me in a huge way and hopefully it will mean as much to me as Creek does.

 

yup. as i said, i don't know how to describe it, and there's other records i feel that way about, there's just some magic in that record

ya, so american girl into losing dogs is definitely it's defining moment

 

American Girl makes me smile and then cry every time.

 

reminds me a lot of st vincent in some parts.

 

I totally thought that yesterday too. How she's the new St Vincent but with less shredding

 

i dunno if ill come back to a lot of this but fuck if losing dogs isn't one of the best songs this year.

 

The end of the video actually made me gasp, I love it so much

 

Happy becoming one of my favorite songs of the year
