Mitski tickets still on sale for NYC which leads me to believe it will be able to be grabbed last minute too

What services respond well to me suddenly living in Australia? I’ve noticed that YouTube Music and Apple Music apps aren’t accepting my new home’s time zone and making the album available.

After one listen, I feel like there’s a couple of songs here that would be cool to experience live, but I don’t know about this being something I would listen to often. It feels a lot like her last album with three or four deviation tracks and less of a dreamy affect overall. Listening to the full album did put I’ll Change For You into a better context though. I think that one is really special and the piece of gold from this record.

I actually really like this. We’ll see how often I revisit it, and I don’t think I like any song on this as much as my favorite from the last one (I’m Your Man), but it’s an extremely solid and nice listen, albeit a mostly unexciting one. It’s also not as melancholy as the last one, which I think I appreciate.

First impression is that this is like The Land but 20% weirder and more eclectic. I’m really into it! The opener and Rules caught my attention the most.

Albums good. Not top tier Mitski for me (yet) but I like it more than LH. I like guitar being front and center again.

    Yeah, it's a Mitski album.

Wow! I'm really banging my head

Really enjoying this. It does sort of feel like Mitski bails on some of the buildup in these songs in the first half of the record, but I really feel like the back half is a beast.

This is really good. No true standout on first listen, but feels obvious to me I'll love this if I spend some time with it.

he’ll live forever in the sound of broken glass

Liking this more than her other post-BTC albums on two listens. Less languid musically. Lyrics are, as always, very good.
