God, her crowd really has changed since the Be the Cowboy tour. That felt so odd compared to the two other times I’ve seen her. Glad she’s gotten so big though. I’m not hugely into this album but most of the songs she played off it tonight sounded much better live. One exception was The Only Heartbreaker which I felt fell a little flat, find that odd cause it’s my favourite from this album.
I saw her twice for Puberty 2, once for Be the Cowboy, and once for Laurel Hell. I love the time I saw her when she played Last Words of a Shooting Star and A Burning Hill solo acoustic to end the set, it felt very intimate and special. The last two times, she didn't play any instrument, but rather took a more sort of performance art angle with the choreography. It's different, but still a fascinating experience, and yeah, I'm glad she can fill such larger venues now.
