Honestly, the older I get, the more inclined I am to agree with photography/video bans. There’s little more that’s as obnoxious as having to watch the set through someone’s screen because they’ve got their phone in the air every 5 minutes.
I make a point to never take pictures/videos at shows. I might allow myself one but I try to be very cognizant of how I’m holding it in reference to those around me (ie. Really close to my face/body). I also don’t post anything I’m doing (ie concerts/vacations/events) on social media. I have found that most of that stuff was never posted in good faith by me or anyone ever really. To go off on a tangent. It’s such a strange thing we do, and I decided to be honest with myself. I had 200-300 followers on Instagram before I deleted my account. Mostly old friends and friends of friends from high school and college who I never interacted with. What intention dId I really have by posting pictures of vacations and sporting events? If anyone I actually talk with on a weekly basis wants to see these things I can send them pics if it comes up in discussion. It didn’t feel genuine to post clips of concerts or beaches anymore. What was my intention to display those things to those people? Seek approval from people I had long disconnected with? I hated it the more I thought about it. Sorry for the ramble.
It depends because only songs are played live and I'm glad to experience them if I miss the concert But there's a way to be unobtrusive and some people can't do that
The last time I saw her was Be The Cowboy Eve so it’ll be nice to hear those songs again after having heard them
