A Pearl is a clear winner for me if I had to choose. But I feel bad for the other songs when I do that.
My heart says Two Slow Dancers but my head's been an echo chamber of "no-bo-dy no-body nobody no-boooody" for the past week.
Pink in the Night, A Pearl, Nobody are my favorites. Only one I'm not really sold on is Washing Machine Heart
Washing Machine Heart is great imo I'm bad at picking favorites and need to listen more before I could do so
Lots of great tracks, but I think my favorite stretch is definitely from Geyser to Two Slow Dancers. I love how everyone has a different opinion as to which song is their favorite, and they're all correct. Every song is the best song. There's no winner here; in other words, you're all losers. In all seriousness, I haven't been this obsessed with an album since Masseduction. I feel like, for me anyway, Mitski's album trajectory really mirrors that of St. Vincent. I may have to revisit Marry Me and Actor, but for both artists, the third album was my entry point, the one that remains closest to my heart. The fourth has some really great songs but feels like a very lateral move. The fifth is just this huge jam from start to finish.
