Rewatching dead reckoning now and the entity stuff still isn’t great and the vibe is just off the entire movie. The scene with all the different agency heads explaining the entity is so weird. Just got to the part where Luther fucks off and it’s so funny.

 

I remember that talking heads scene solely because I thought it was the most ridiculous faff way of setting up the threat. Real "We pissed in God's eye... and he blinked" energy.

 

Mixed reactions be damned. I just saw the trailer again at the movies and my god this looks fucking incredible I am so hyped

 

Man loves a good flick.

Watching Part One tonight in anticipation of seeing it on IMAX tomorrow night. Close to the worst of the franchise, but still has some incredible action scenes. Stoked for part two

 

And somehow the Face Mask making machine somehow is fried by the Entity? Benji was dumb enough to have it connected to the internet or whatever? Guhhhhhhh
