I think it’s perfectly reasonable to have to pee once during a 3 hour movie. Especially if you are staying hydrated like you should.

 

I disagree, and I'm diabetic so I actually should be peeing more often. Sounds like a skill issue.

Simply drink more water

 

I can usually hold my pee for an hour, but this film was 2 hours and 50 minutes plus a thank you message from TC himself and I drank a grande decaf Americano

 

You see the action on the screen. You eat more popcorn as a result (studies have shown this). You then drink more soda or water or whatever. And then. You piss.

Not that’s it’s any of your business but I usually pee while the trailers are still going on and then again after the movie. This movie in particular I did pee about an hour and a half through

 

I couldn't figure out who one of the non-Nick-Offerman-or-Holt-McAllany top war room guys was but I knew I recognized him and it turns out it's Mycroft from the Benedict Cumberbatch Sherlock! I think it was throwing me off that he's American in this and not English

 

Well I appreciate you being open about it.

Actually had a conversation with my brother about this a minute ago and our conclusion is that everyone is certainly different (bladder sizes, medical conditions, etc.) but if you want to not go to the bathroom during a film it is absolutely doable. You pee before the movie. I'm not even saying don't have snacks. I usually have an ICEE during the film myself.

But then again, I don't want to be mean about it. Maybe it's not doable for some people because of their body structure, I dunno.

 

lol yes I have seen a urologist because I pee too much. I’m over caffeinated. But am I gonna cut back on caffeine?
