Needed a scene with the Ohio officer finding out he let her suit go down with the sub

 

I fucking love movies so much man. This rocked. Very grateful I got to see it in theaters with my parents

As far as franchise finales it’s not a complete disaster like, say, rise of skywalker but it’s in the bottom half of M:I for me. Cool set pieces tho.

 

I’m still thinking about the torpedos he’s trying to navigate around and inside the chamber when it’s rolling. Only partially submerged and the water level keeps shifting. Good stuff Mr.cruise

Yeah lol. I was talking to my wife about that part. Wasn’t he at the v bottom of the ocean and TOOK OFF HIS DIVING EQUIPMENT AND WET SUIT??!

I dunno. I don’t think this franchise would have him do anything impossible.

 

Cave In and Radiohead, good taste.

 

I think this is in my top five for the franchise. Last two movies definitely jumped the shark a bit in terms of scale and THE ENTITY but the action is so good that I simply do not care. Not a bad movie in the bunch, two included

 

Fallout - about as good as modern action epics get
Ghost Protocol - see: above

Rogue Nation - i like this every time I watch it and feel like its top three but I'd be lying if I said I remember a lot from it. Just doesn't stick for whatever reason
Final Reckoning - 2nd half is amazing, 1st half commits one of my least favorite sins over and over again.
Dead Reckoning - weird pacing but mostly good stuff

1 - solid

2 - cheesy and very of its time. Overcorrecting from the flaws of the 1st. But also it kind of works? It at least feels like its trying something more than the 3rd.
3 - Hoffman does so much heavy lifting here. One of the best cold opens but Abrams is just not a good director.

I enjoy the absurdity of the later films more than the classic spy thriller type of 1. I still like 1 a lot. They’re all good to great other than maybe 2 but I haven’t seen that since it came out probably.

Also what happened to Vanessa Kirby? They just decide the movie couldnt get any hotter?
