This was good. Yeah first half was roooooouuugh but the second half made up for it. The underwater part was amazing

That video of him throwing popcorn into his mouth was just his spring training.

 

Loved it, RIP the best action franchise

Cinemark D Box seats had us bouncing around which was a lot of fun

 

I really enjoyed this. Thought it was gonna be worse based on some reactions here. Thought it was significantly better than dead reckoning.

loved seeing nick offerman, Hannah waddingham and tramell Tillman on the big screen. Though you could have had anyone in the nick and Hannah roles since they weren’t really given anything to do.

 

I find Nick Offerman distracting in most things

 

Enjoyed this more when I rewatched this today. Probably will settle as my #4 MI movie.

 

That first hour was rough but mostly great after that.

 

No joke besides Tom Cruise being an absolute madman.. Tramell Tillman almost stole the movie.. so much damn charisma!!

 

Everyone on the subarmine was so hot.

 

Seriously, the first hour wasn't just rough, it was comically bad. Scene after scene was a complete miss, I was dumbfounded for a bit. Like the false tooth scene, it was so cringe. I'm not sure exactly when it started to turn around, but the sub stuff was definitely the highlight of the movie.

 

The entity is trying to convince you that this movie was flawed and that Julia and Ilse were fridged only to be replaced with another brunette who only exists to be loved by Ethan

 

Is Julia fridged? Isn't she happily married to another guy?

Anyway, I read an article about why they didn't bring back Faust and it boils down to "we wanted to kill her before she became just another love interest", which is insane troll logic to me, but okay.

Pretty much when Angela Basset showed up is when the movie become more interesting and didn’t let up.

 

I didn’t hate the first hour and thought it flowed better than the beginning of dead reckoning.

but trimming this 30 mins to make it a 2.5 hr movie would probably make it a lot better.

 

What city were they gonna blow up
