Now on Hulu/Prime
I watched last night, first rewatch since theaters, and it actually came down a bit for me. It’s still got amazing action sequences but the acting and dialogue seemed totally off from what I remembered. I’d put it behind GP and RN and maybe the first one as well.
Also rewatched. I think it holds up.
The only dialogue that I hate is when Ethan is pretending to be Lark talking talking to the Widow and he’s like “I gas babies for fun” or whatever. Like oof Ethan, you are a nerd
For some reason I remembered there being more Vanessa Kirby in this. White Widow gets mentioned a lot, but she doesn't actually have a lot of screen time. So glad Hobbs and Shaw is a thing.
really really really hope she's back in the next two
Lol, yes! This is one of the parts I was thinking of.
I think it’s funny that in both movies she kisses the lead actor just once and both are awkward.
Agent Carter is back! not really but sort of...
Fuck I can't wait for this. I hope I'm alive to see it
Hope Tom is too
Scientologists don’t age.
How do you guys feel about MI:2? I see so many people bash it, but I think it's a fun movie. I remember seeing it in the theatre with my friend when I was like 13 though, so it's probably just a lot of nostalgia. I was also really into Limp Bizkit at the time
I prefer 3
My friends haven’t seen Fallout yet so we are watching through the series first and we just watched 2 last week. It absolutely sucks
I can still enjoy parts of M:I 2, but it's easily my least favorite of the series.
My friend and I watched all of them right before Fallout. 2 is the only one in the series that isn't better than the one before it. Still enjoyable, though. Was cool seeing Thandie Newton after watching Westworld.
2 is a two-star movie with some cool stuff towards the end. I'm just glad it was still a hit otherwise we wouldn't have had four (going on five or six) superior sequels
I remember stealing 3 dollars from my moms purse to see MI:2 a second time as a kid (we had a discount theater just up the street from me) and even then I was like "ehhh, maybe this isn't as awesome as I thought"
Kind of curious to rewatch it, but also...not.
This is simply amazing
