I want to see both the John Wick movies but haven't gotten around to them yet.

 

Tokyo Drift is the only good one.

 

We're all leaving out The Matrix.

 

From what I’ve seen, the Fast and Furious movies are terrible.

Casino Royals and Skyfall are awesome, but the other two Daniel Craig movies are boring with a few redeeming scenes or imagery.

The Mission Impossible franchise, even with two being a stinker, has been way more entertaining and stand the test of time than any other action franchise of the last 20+ years.

I still love The Matrix, but haven’t seen the sequels in years and years.

 

That's a bold and ridiculous claim: Indiana Jones.

 

Those movies are from 1981, 1984, 1989, and then way later on in 2008.

I said 20+ years, not 30-40 years.

 

(And the second and fourth Indiana Jones are not good.)

I like them because I love the character of Indiana Jones, but they’re clearly a step below the others.

I’ve only seen the first one, but it was forgettable and I have no intention of seeing the others.

 

I wish The Marine franchise kept going.

 

I’d say the main X-Men franchise movies are up there when it comes to good-to-great action movies.

 

The way they filmed some of this is just bonkers, can’t stop thinking about it.

The behind the scenes of this movie was fucking nuts.

 

I need to watch Collateral again. Cruise was such a badass in it. Great movie.

Minority Report is still probably my favorite movie ever.

 

So for me, Fallout and Rogue Nation are easily the best of the franchise. No contest. Then I have a soft spot for III, I love that storyline, PSH, Keri Russell, and the ending in Shanghai. Then Ghost Protocol has cool set pieces, but the new characters were bland - Patton and Renner (he gets better in RN), and the typical Tom Clancy villain. Fun, but superficial. Then obviously one for the groundwork it lays, and two is last although I haven't seen it in ages.

Summary: 5>6>3>4>1>2

 

6 > 5 > 4 = 2 > 1 > 3

I have always loved 2 for whatever reason, and 3, while I still like it, is the one I've always enjoyed the least.

 

This is the worst take.

 

“Jason Bourne” is a moody piece of shit that totally betrays the entire series. It’s a marvel that it was made by the same people as the good ones.

“M:I 2” is more of a product of its time. But it still has some fun and a good cast.
