The sound in my theatre was 10/10. The sandstorm part in particular

 

“I have to go now. Arby’s needs me.”

 

It was so hot in my theater. I was so sweaty.

 

Pom rocked in this, so cool

 

Wait shit is Ving Rhames the one in the Arby’s commercials??

 

Yeah this was nuts in Dolby especially the sandstorm and whenever Paris was driving the hummer thing

 

yeah Josh where the hell you been?

 

I’ve now seen Ving Rhames in 5 movies in the past month or so but I’m just dumb as shit I guess

 

He is at least until The Entity takes over!

 

I also never knew he was the voice in the Arbys commercials haha

 

Already had tickets for tomorrow night but called an AMC A-List audible and grabbed a solo seat for 11pm IMAX. Edibles hitting let’s get it

 

Hmm. Not quite as high on this as I was hoping to be, but even if it's middle pack MI, that's still a high-bar to everything else.

 

for me, yes. both my two favorite blockbusters of the year, though.

 

Loved this, the bit with the yellow VW was actually kind of funny for this franchise.

 

benji yelling at ethan while in the car was pretty good

 

I think if the first 20 or so minutes were stronger this would be a top two MI movie for me but everything from the beginning through the meeting where we first meet cary elwes character was clunky. But from there it is pretty great.

 

man I spent almost every second that Cary Elwes was on-screen trying to remember his name

 

"he's the guy from the princess bride, has a weird-ish name, what is it, what is it"

 

SO clunky. Awful dialogue, acting, and jumping around characters trading one liners like they were.

 

i loved the submarine scene but agree in the rob delaney scene

 

remember when after Grace crashes the car and the bad guys are approaching her while she's clearly concussed and Ethan throws a driverless motorcycle at them

that ruled

 

As I said, overall not as good as Fallout, buuut some scenes are just so fucking funny. When they switch places in the car and Hayley's just like "ohhh no." Also Vanessa's entire train sequence was great

 

The editing in that first Cary Elwes boardroom scene was so janky. Was happy to see the “Top Gun: Maverick” guy back though.
