So excited for that tour

I revisited Voids last week and it was better than I remember. I really dug it

 

Cant wait. See you in Philly.

 

don't know if I can make this tour but I really want that purple swirl vinyl so might have to get the tour bundle for $63. damn!

 

I hope that bundle lasts for a bit because I want that vinyl and I'm planning on going to the show, just can't swing the cost right now

 

Just got an email from the band that reads:

"After years of writing and touring, we've come to the bittersweet decision to bring Minus the Bear to an end and with that, we announce our final tour this Autumn."

 

Well fuck...

Makes sense. They’ve seemed to pretty steadily decrease in popularity over the years and have now finished doing a 10 year tour for the last record that could even have potential to draw well.

I went to the POI tour and the turnout was far and away the worst I’ve ever seen at the venue it was at, a venue I’ve been visiting since ‘02. 2500 cap but there could not have been more than 600 bodies in that room.

I've been a fan through the years, but feel like they were grasping to hang on the past couple of years.

 

I mean, I get it. But it still fucking sucks.

The new song reminds me of something that could have been on Beer Commercials.

 

This sucks but it’s not too surprising. Excited to see them one last time and they couldn’t have picked a better opener than Caspian.

 

That’s cool Brad from Now,Now is doing the invisible remix on the ep.

 

Not really surprised by this. Definitely going to catch that Tampa date. Gonna be a damn good show with Caspian.

 

Fair Enough is solid

 

Come hell or high water, I am going to that Chicago show. It will put them at the top of my list of Bands I've Seen The Most.

Bummed that we'll never get to witness a 10 year anniversary tour for OMNI. This is my favorite album, and I haven't liked anything else they put out this decade.
