I caught the Cleveland show on Wednesday. They sounded great, and once they finished Menos, the backdrop switched from the album art to the band logo literally on the first note of the next song.

They played some deep cuts from the early EPs, Knights, Into the Mirror, etc

 

Whoever did their lighting design for this tour deserves a huge raise.

 

The snare on Planet of Ice is crazy. Was giving it a listen yesterday and it’s so loud.

 

Minus The Bear opening for Jimmy Eat World’s Bleed American tour in Texas. Glad they’re still gonna be around.

 

They held an AMA on r/indieheads a few days ago in case anyone missed it. The big takeaways are: no plans for new music as of right now and a EU/UK tour is being worked on.

 

They're selling ONMI on vinyl on their Bandcamp for $25 for it's 16th anniversary. Had to finally snag.

I've been meaning to grab it for some time. Such a stupid sexy record.

 

Menos, Planet, and OMNI is one of the best three album runs ever.

 

You can't just leave out Highly Refined Pirates like that

 

OMNI is my favorite album, perfect for the spring/summertime

 

i was just listening to lost loves the other week for the first time and thinking, god damn is this good for a comp full of b-sides and non released material, they just don't miss! I love that minus the bear has their own sound. Vocally & musically you can instantly recognize

 

Jammed this to and from work today , noticed it turns twenty next year!!
