OMNI is still my favorite

 

It’s fantastic. Love what they did on that record

 

2014's Lost Loves was a really solid collection of rarities/unreleased songs. "Electric Rainbow" and "Broken China" in particular , I want to say those songs were both Omni -era. They played "Broken China" when I saw them in early 2010 in State College, PA and I recall them introducing it as a new song, so I was shocked when it wasn't actually on Omni.

This band has sooooo much great stuff, though I agree that after Omni it got a bit spottier. I love getting back into them every year around this time of year, they are a very fall and winter band for me.

 

Broken China was the b-side to the first single from OMNI. Great song. Need to give OMNI another listen, I used to love it. They fell off so hard after that record

 

I think Electric Rainbow was POI and broken china was def Omni.

 

Lucky Ones might be one of my top MTB tracks.

 

That shirt does indeed rule.

I wish I was still skinny enough to still wear my Minus Da Bears shirt with the Voids logo in Chicago Bears colors. Easily my favorite band shirt I own.

Really regret not seeing them but life had other plans

 

Yeah I had multiple opportunities to see this band since becoming a fan in 2010 and I passed every single time. Really wish I had caught the anniversary tours for MEO and POI, or any tour really lol

 

Saw MTB with Circa.. it was fantastic.

 

I only got to see them twice for the Voids and farewell tour. Forever kicking myself that I didn't go to more.

 

I was fortunate enough to see them half a dozen times or so. Never a bad show.

 

Planet of Ice is always a vibe during this time of year.

 

Funny enough, I always listen to that one in the summer!

 

Same actually. All their albums are summer albums for me except Pirates I got into during a very rainy late winter/ealry spring so I associate that record with that time.

 

Sidenote. I didn't know that Erin had another band. New song is pretty good.

 

I have 2 vacations this summer. One in a cabin with college friends and the other is a beach house stay with my in-laws. I’ve been collaborating with the other folks on Spotify playlists for both and you can bet I’ve added some choice MTB songs.

What songs would you add to a cabin stay or a beach playlist?
