I had to pay someone $50 to cover my shift at work tonight but it was well worth it, lol!

 

Was able to make it last minute, was certainly the biggest show I’ve ever seen at the lanes lol. Trying to figure out how to post a video from my damn phone!

they also did a late show and 100 (probably 200)+ people were lined up for hours waiting for it while it was raining and windy and 50 degrees.

 

Damn road construction this summer is some bullshit

 

Where in the cities do they have it? I haven't kept up with local news like that being over here

 

94 by the U is down to two lanes, albertville 94 is down to two lanes, 494 in Bloomington stinks (as usual) with my job I’m driving to numerous job sites daily and it just gets tiresome lol

 

My entire neighborhood is cut up too.

 

Obviously summer construction is annoying but this year is another level lol

 

Palmer’s Bar in Cedar Riverside is closing 9/14.

Crushing blow for that area.

Young Joni is also closing because their rent was tripled. Yea, it’s not historic like these other ones, but it has like nationwide acclaim by the New York Times. Makes me wonder how smaller places are supposed to survive if a NYT recognition still isn’t enough.

 

The Young Joni thing is also coming at a weird time for Anne Kim. She’s closing restaurants and now her name is on pizzas being sold at Target. I’m also not sure how long Hello Pizza will be around as it never seems that busy.
