Haven’t been over there in a bit but I assume they’re building out the rest of the B Line etc., hopefully will be great once that’s up and running
Taylor Swift bill is signed into Minnesota law, boosting protections for online ticket buyers Hell yeah
This sucks ass. Can’t help but think location played a huge part, as theaters near us are routinely packed. We live in Highland/Mac Groveland and even the rundown Mann theaters are full and occasionally showing classics; the one on Grand Ave is really good at this.
But it does suck, loved that theater. Probably drove 25-30 minutes each way from north Minneapolis to catch a movie. Liked the local beer selection and the food wasn’t half bad, a little expensive but you know what isn’t now
Tbh I ever went but every time I drove past it looked full. My go-to theaters are Mann Edina, AMC Southdale, and Riverview. Sometimes Showplace SLP
Would 100% non-ironically bro out with fellow Chorusians to Twisters at AMC Southdale, followed by Dave and Busters and/or the Rooftop at RH afterward (vibe dependent)
apparently Alamo corporate is looking into ways to reopen the Woodbury location. I was also considering hopping on their pass this summer. has anyone been to the new MOA theater?
Yeah I wonder if the franchise owner was doing some dumb shit. Hope it can be saved or at least reopened as another cool theater
Loved when I lived over near the Southdale area; every big name grocery store within a 5-minute drive, the mall itself, a movie theater, both 494 and 62 within a few minutes drive as well, providing easy access to the wider south metro, some great restaurants, etc. Cool the development they've put into the Southdale parking lots, which sat empty for so many years.
