they probably got plowed late last night after yesterday’s snow stopped but before it started again early this morning. I shoveled after getting home around 8, plows still hadn’t come around yet. now heading out for part one of round two shoveling
See if you can hit up Herbivorous Butcher which would be a short Uber or bus ride, it’s a vegan butcher shop but they sell awesome sandwiches and to go deli items
Just a heads up, there is really strong model agreement on a big storm next week. Pretty much every weather model has significant snowfall at this point. The worst of it looks to be from Wednesday into Thursday but snow could start as early as Tuesday. It's still early enough where there could be some big changes to the evolution of the storm (I haven't seen any snowfall totals thrown around yet, which is a good thing). Regardless, expecting travel disruptions with this one.
Same, I’ve been looking at local meteorologists twitter feeds and the metro is basically in the middle of every model lol. Anywhere from a foot to two feet of snow supposedly
I am a consulting meteorologist and let me tell you, I am not looking forward to Monday mornings briefings
MSP does a pretty good job of operating during snowstorms, but if this one comes in as modeled right now you'd be looking at a much higher chance of disruptions than usual.
Further to this, some of the latest data has nearly 100% probabilities of 12-18" in that same narrow band.
