80 dollars and GA is 30 I just hate being in crowds, so I was wondering if it is a better alternative
personally i'd go GA. The baclonies have seats/chairs and dedicated bars, but imo it looks the same as the upper level at first ave or the fine line. the floor is pretty spacious and they seem to staff more bartenders than other venues so getting drinks isn't a problem.
Yeah I might just go that route, I got balcony tickets for them the following Friday in Milwaukee. Haha
Scored a $35 ($44 after fees) ticket for the 1975 show; pretty happy about that. For being "sold out", so weird seeing so many cheap tickets on Stubhub. Seeing Leon Tuesday night, and then The Japanese House Wednesday night
I’ll be hitting up saves the day in August, but beyond that I don’t think there any concerts I’m 100% going to right now
The big ones I'm most excited for are the Lonely Island, the Menzingers (in Milwaukee I guess, whatever!) Spanish Love Songs, Sigrid, and Camp Cope. Trying to decide if I'm gonna try to get to Milwaukee a day early to see Saves the Day there or just go when they're here. Or...both?
As of now just the 1975 tonight, anberlin and the lonely island in June. Will probably hit up Ariana though
Pedro the Lion, Coheed & Mastodon, Raconteurs, Bon Iver & Julien @ Summerfest, & Conor Oberst @ the Zoo are all on the table.
Turns out I actually have an extra GA ticket for the 1975 show tonight, does anyone need one/know someone who does? Just hoping to get like 45 bucks for it, it was like $67 after fees. If you can't afford $45 don't worry about it, I'm just hoping to get a little back for some drinking money at the show haha, but first priority is not letting the ticket go to waste! Let me know and I can transfer it to you on ticketmaster!
Un. Fucking. Real. What a show. Matty seemed to be into the show as a whole, trying to give each song it's all. Favorite part of the set of "fallingforyou", followed by "You". "I Like America" went offfff as well. Being in the middle of the crowd as it's jumping and going absolutely mental was just the best experience. I love concerts. The Armory too; such a great concert venue.
I loved that they played Paris, I saw it wasn’t on the setlist at previous shows so it was a nice surprise. Get to do it all over again in two days in Milwaukee. Haha
Hey y’all, my band is playing the small room at Eagles next Friday at 9, $5 cover but feel free to swing on thru if you’re looking for something local.
