Yeah I’m not working Monday.

 

At the wolves game tonight, the atmosphere is so amazing now that they are winning.

 

aaaaand, the forecast is down to 1-3 inches during the day tomorrow.

 

Bah. I wanted a snow day.

 

Also. You’re tearing me apart, Vikings.

 

I kept the Vikings at arm's length when Teddy went down and it turned out to be the right call.

 

So this snow is fun.

 

Yeah... I don't want to go outside. I'm kind of glad I work in a basement... my anxiety would be insane if I had to watch it come down.

 

I guess we're gonna get almost 10 inches now?

 

Owatonna already has 9. I’m up in Plymouth so I bet we get a few inches less than the southern part of the metro like 5-8

 

I read that it's supposed to be 8-12 south of the river and 5-8 north... I'm really not hype.

 

I’m posted on the couch watching get out. Not a bad start to the snow day.

 

I’ve been on the bus for 55 minutes and I’m not even through downtown yet. I got on at 3rd and Hennepin at 3:20 and I’m currently at 11th and Hennepin. Fuck this

 

they were saying on the radio it is an hour from the north loop to uptown, woof.

 

2 hours to get home. About 10 miles.

 

Very thankful for my flexible schedule today, I got home at like 2:30

 

Update: now on 13th lol

 

dang. woke up to a few snowflakes coming down and thought that would be it.

wrong.

gonna be some good snowboarding tomorrow, though.

 

Anyone taking in super bowl festivities or laying low?

Have to be the annoying tourist, sorry. We are going to be in Minneapolis on ACCIDENT during superbowl weekend because my boyfriend's aunt helps run the Loppet foundation and their fundraiser thing happens to be that same weekend. Can anyone recommend restaurants that are within walking distance of the Lake of the Isles neighborhood where the luminary happens? I'm trying to do as little driving as possible once we're in the city because it sounds like it's going to be a nightmare.

edit: also how miserable am I going to be trying to arrive in the city around 3pm on the 2nd?

 

I'm pretty nervous about how long it will take me to get to work this next week. It's going to be insane.

 

Anyone here live/lived in Whittier? I'm looking to move to a new place in a couple months and found an apt off of Nicollet and 25th. Advice/insight on parking, crime, eating/shopping?
