Yeeup! Semester, Small Towns..all those bands that never broke through

 

GLORIA! who got signed to a main label but wanted to party instead, haha.

 

The Copper Hen was AWESOME -- So was Bar La Grassa

 

brunch is the best meal of the day and i haven't been to copper hen yet, I NEED TO GO!

had brunch at sheridan room in NE last weekend, it was good. the bloody had like a bacon taste in it too, which i had no problem with.

 

I listen to the semester and small towns and GLORIA constantly. I even have the semester ep! that full length Gloria album is great too

 

Sheridan room is real cool. Solid, Upscale-feeling food in a casual atmosphere

 

Yeah if my friend and I both don't have plans Friday nights we usually meet there for some drinks. The atmosphere And music selection are both great.

 

Friday blizzard potentially?

 

I'm a meteorologist (not joking) and it looks legit. Real potent system and lots of potential. Only potential caveat would be the storm tracking slightly south which would lower snow totals a bit. But right now looks locked for at least 8-12".

 

Best meal I have maybe ever had. Jesus Christ. Perfection down to the post-dessert cookies.

Getting 60 degree weather in February without a snow storm at the end of the week wouldn't be Minnesota weather, haha.

Yeah, this storm 'aint happening. All the data i'm looking at says it's going to slide south. Pretty dramatic shift in the past 24 hours. If your TV meteorologist is still calling for a blizzard, turn him off.

 

I'm pissed. I wanted a snowstorm.

 

i was dreading the snow but now that it's not happening i realize how badly i secretly wanted a snow storm this weekend haha. damn.

Sunday liquor sales just passed! Off to Dayton for signature. YAY

and I had a phone interview today, god those are the worst.

 

soundset lineup is pretty solid this year, im not a fan of the main performers. (except lauryn hill), but i can get down with DRAM, gucci, pusha, and TI (as long as it is the bangers)

 

Never been to Soundset. Probably should one day.

 

Went to Soundset a couple times a few years ago. It was fun, but recent lineups haven't been worth the money to me. Would rather put that money towards like 5-8 other individual shows. Speaking of other shows....MENZINGERS THIS WEEKEND BABY
