Yo my friend bailed on me so I'm at the JEW show alone if anyone wants to scream along to Big Casino with me!
Cool dude, I'm heading in now, I'll be heading over there to get a drink too. I've got a dark denim jacket on!
Hell of a show! The wife and I hung out in the balcony which was cool and low key. We saw the tour in Madison in October and we were like third row, so we didn't mind being in the back. Only thing that sucked is that no one seemed to be into the new stuff, at least in the balcony. Everyone was talking throughout Pass The Baby.
I knowwww that was definitely the song i was most sad they didn't play. I was pumped they played Always Be though, that was sorta a surprise for me.
Forgot about our JEW meetup! Shit! Such a good show though; I debated whether being on the balcony or near the stage, but I figured the crowd would be calm enough that I wouldn't have to worry about pushing or shoving on the main floor, so that's where I went instead. Such a good show(first time seeing them ever); 23 and Work were my jams of the night
ayeeee seeing a christmas carol at the guthrie this weekend, i usually go every year. but i still always get excited a couple days leading up to it. such a good production.
Jealous; my favorite theatre production in the cities(mind you I don't go to many, haha). Seeing that show at the Guthrie just seems so perfect. They try to do it differently every year, keeping it fresh, and then everybody is kinda dressed up, looking good, everybody all jolly. Such a good night; haven't gone in a couple years myself, but might try to go in the next couple weeks
yeah i don't go to many productions myself but the guthrie is such a cool place, i saw to kill a mockingbird i think it was last spring? either way i loved it.
What are the next shows people are going to? In January I just got Bear's Den and AFI/Chain Gang of 1974
Btw, on Saturday I checked out the Hollidazzle in Loring Park; pretty nice. Bunch of food vendors selling various tasty things, along with vendors in tents selling various knicknacks. Then walked over to the Walker as it was free on Saturday, but left after half an hour as all the "art" there was pretty shit
