Amazing free show at the Kitty Cat Klub tonight. Ghostmouth is doing a release show, they fucking rock, and Flavor Crystals / Driftwood Pyre are the two openers, and they both slay as well.

 

Can anyone recommend a good movie theater near U of M campus/downtown/uptown? I want to check out St. Anthony but that's the only one I know so far.

 

I really like St. Anthony! Just saw Sausage Party there haha. They have a deal on Tuesdays where movies are $5 and popcorn and pop are $3 so that's when I try to go. Only theater I've been to around there, though. If you're a student, it's always $6 too!

 

St. Anthony is the closest option to campus, but if you're willing to go ~10 minutes in either direction you can hit up Landmark Lagoon or AMC Rosedale

 

anyone know of any record stores that sell mostly newer records? I'm probably in the minority, but it always bums me out when I see the new release section is smaller than 50 records. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'm not looking to buy any used Led Zepplin records... haha

no, I haven't. I googled the record stores but I couldn't tell which ones were worth checking out (probably should just hit up all of them)

 

Agharta Records on University has a pretty good selection of new stuff, and I'll second the Fetus!
