I thought the first two songs were one song the first few times I heard it. The opener really builds up to the release of Palisades and I love it.
for me, i was floored the first time I heard it. It kind of reminded me of the first time I heard TDAG.
Don't have a horse in the Mineral discussion, but the first time I heard TDAG I also thought virtually nothing of it
Pinkerton was another album the first time I heard it it absolutely blew me away. Interesting how some albums knock you on your ass first listen and others can take years to grow on you.
On Twitter, I had a discussion with @Zac Djamoos and @CoffeeEyes17 on how my first listen of Home wasn't all that impressive. It's now one of my top 5 records. Same with Clarity, which is also a top 5 record for me.
Haha, I don't think I hated any, but also immediately loving records is pretty rare for me, and when that happens it usually doesn't become a favorite.
same on both. i thought intro was a super boring opener. lol. i was a moron. i also thought movmou was boring!
Commit This To Memory is probably my favorite album of all time, and I used to only like about 2-3 songs from it. Granted it grew on me very, very quickly but still it took a couple days.
That band is extremely, wildly overrated. They have one album that's sorta kinda pretty good and even that one is a snooze half the time.
