Y’all ever like just really pay attention to the drums on this record and realize how fuckin hard Vince snapped? He didn’t have to go that hard, but he did that. He did that for us.

 

I tend to focus on the drummer a lot when watching shows, and watching Vince play hurt my head sometimes. He's so fucking good.

And that’s one of the ones I brought mostly written to the band, so it makes sense that that influence would be there in some way. I used some wild chords in that one.

ty for the shoutout bud! there is an entire problem addict record demo’d and waiting to be recorded properly I am just trying to get together enough gear to do it decently. some of the demos are on bandcamp rn, but I have the whole thing in a google drive folder if anyone really wants to hear the full thing in demo form.

for the most part, that’s kinda the plan yeah. will probably be playing everything but drums and recording it myself. getting close to where I need to be to get started with it. it’s been a long time in the making— oldest songs are getting close to 10 years old at this point— and I had planned to save and record it at a nice studio at one point but I’ve since realized I am either going to have to do it myself or it’s never gonna get done lol.

 

nice. i’m in the same boat right now, though it’s “finished” and in the mixing stage. just never gonna happen if you have to wait around for the perfect time to get everything lined up just the way you want it.
