Oh shit, it’s official? Brett told me at the Pedro the Lion show that the band was really done this time, but I wasn’t totally inclined to believe him. Haha Well damn. I’ll try and make one of the last Charlotte shows.

I love this album and Cozy Body so much and I'm grateful they exist

 

this is worst than if someone spoiled a GoT EP

 

Indefinite hiatus, y’all, there’s at least some hope we’ll get back at it one day. We’re at a place right now where we each individually need to take time to ourselves to get better and work on our health, and unfortunately we’ve come to a point where the band has negatively contributed to everyone’s mental well-being. Right now we all want different things, but maybe we just need time off to reassess how we feel about this band. I personally hope this isn’t permanent, but no matter what I will continue to pursue new musical endeavors, and I think the same goes for other members of the band, so maybe you’ll find some solace in that.

in all seriousness I'm still super bummed about this but obviously I will always support whatever endeavors the members of this band choose to pursue and I'm glad everyone involved is taking care of themselves. I'm forever grateful for this record, Cozy Body, and 7 inches of Release

Also, we’re doing a two week long farewell tour in May and I’d def love to see some of y’all if we come near you. And we’ll also be putting out these last couple songs we’ve written by the time we go on said tour. And we’ve got a ton of footage for a documentary that’ll be out eventually, hopefully.

Also have thrown around the idea of doing a crowdfunding thing for TITLTET vinyl, but we’re a little unsure if it’d be successful and like don’t wanna be embarrassed if it falls flat lmao.
