This show is terrific. Halfway through. Been a while since ive gone through a Netflix series. I'm so happy this is the one I choose. Bill and Holden's dynamic is surprisingly enjoyable.
The one thing missing from the first season was any mentioning of the Zodiac killer. There’s no way Holden wouldn’t be fascinated with the case. I know they focused on profiling via prison interviews, but that case must’ve been a huge topic around the FBI in the 70s especially.
Absolutely love that Zeppelin song they ended the season with so that made me a happy person as the season wrapped up.
Finished two days ago, and can’t stop thinking about it. That reveal of how un-hinged Kemper really was....so creepy. They’re my spirit wives. They’re with me now.
Also I thought for sure the the cat she kept feeding was going to turn out to be a person the whole time. I’m assuming that whole part was a metaphor or something.
I actually thought that at first as well haha. As the season started to close out, I realized that this simply just isn't "that" kind of show, and that it was definitely just a metaphor.
Bummer this isn’t clicking for me like I️ thought it would. If I’m not completely sold by the end of episode 3, should I️ probably stop watching or does it get better?
I watched the first episode last night and thought it was ok. I'm going to continue to watch, though.
3/4 episodes in, this is really good. I don’t know how to describe it, so much has happened in those episodes story-wise but it still feels like a slow burn (which I love. Better Call Saul is easily my fav season of TV this year) I started this show knowing nothing about it except Fincher, so I was def surprised when they mentioned names of criminals that are familiar to me.
Did a podcast on this first season and included some talk on what they could do with season two with the characters and whatnot. Definitely don't listen until you've watched the whole thing. Mindhunter S1
crazy that the singer of louis xiv did the score for this. so good. also, fuck man, the actor playing btk is quietly incredible.
The ending of episode 4 is so stylish, when they were at the elevator and the three of them were trying to process what just happened with the funding with blank faces, and by the end all three of them were smiling EDIT: Done. Show is so good.
threw on the first episode last night, we stopped the season only for sleep and sprinted downstairs in the morning to finish it some of the most enthralling television I've ever seen
My lovely girlfriend downloaded the entire season for our flights from IL-AZ for Thanksgiving. She truly is lovely.
Finishing the final 2 episodes tonight with the girlfriend. I wish I didnt read a spoiler about what was happening in the Kansas segments, but I am pumped!
It’s not really much of a spoiler at all considering all those scenes are in Wichita and the guy is a home security tech named Dennis. If you have a working knowledge of BTK you knew who it was from the first scene.
