The scenes where they talk to Ed Kemper are crazy. Its unreal how perfectly comfortable he is talking about his murders.
Well the pilot was incredible. Going to try and finish the season before Stranger Things starts next week.
Finished this today. I have to keep reminding myself this takes place in the 70s or whatever and maybe people didn't find a principal tickling children that weird back then.
This guy Cameron Britton, who plays Kemper, is incredible. Watched a clip of an old interview with the real Kemper and it's unreal. Kinda wish Britton was in every episode.
Really really love the dynamic between Holden and Bill. I find that Bill is more empathic towards cops whereas Holden is more sympathetic towards criminals. I think it’s interesting. The wife and I burned through this show in two days. We already want more.
I didn’t expect to like Bill very much, but he’s not the typical by-the-book, macho veteran cop. The characters compliment each other well.
This and The Deuce have done an exceptional job of staying true to the 70’s time period in terms of set design, wardrobe, and little things in between.
One thing I love is that every time the do an establishing shot of FBI headquarters you hear gun shots from the firing range. It reminds me of how on the Simpsons whenever they show the power plant you hear a bird going CAW.
