Fincher’s connection to the show is pretty noticeable in almost every aspect of it in my opinion. I would much rather wait until he’s free and interested than lose that influence completely. Also interestingly, looking up info about the showrunners led me to a quote from a while ago that makes me think the five season plan hasn’t been the case for a long time, maybe not since Fincher took over the full duties for S1 and reworked some things. I’ll have to dig and see which articles about that are more recent. At this point I certainly do not have my hopes set on that much content ever happening.
Also my wife has been playing a ton of Frozen for my son during this whole ordeal, and I just realized who voices the main male lead in frozen...
David Fincher Confirms the ‘Very Expensive’ Mindhunter Is Done for Now Not a huge surprise, but a huge bummer.
I just wanted them to do the BTK story because they had teased it. Season 1 was so fantastic, Season 2 was good to pretty good. I just wanted one more season to wrap it up right. it’s so rare to have a show centred around dialogues “post event” be so intriguing and it was pulled off brilliantly.
They're just gona play out the BTK storyline in real time...so 24 years from the end of season 2 we'll get the conclusion.
I hate that this show never got the massive viewership it deserved. Felt like it was never promoted properly or something.
It's a creator decision, not a network decision. Fincher doesn't feel like doing it, so it's not gona happen
I’ve never watched this show but after watching one of the cast members in The Iron Claw I’m interested in giving this a shot. Also:
