Militarie Gun absolutely killed it last night. Spaced jumped on the tour and absolutely blew people away. They are destined for greatness. Militarie Gun covered Blur and Ian is such a great frontman. Sold out show on a Monday night!

 

Hell yeah, it was an awesome show. Spiritual Cramp ripped too, and I'm sad I missed Spaced. Thanks for the invite @Nate_Johnson!

if there's any chance you can get there early enough to see Spiritual Cramp, I HIGHLY recommend it.

I'll go one step further and say get there even earlier for Spaced

 

I think you should get there EVEN EARLIER so that you can awkwardly stand around the venue and make painful small talk with strangers/the bar tender to pass time

 

Yeah Spaced actually blew me away last night. My favorite of the openers by a lot (Pool Kids is cool I’ve just seen them like 5 times on this album cycle).

Haven’t seen a crowd go off the way they did for Do It Faster in a minute. What a song, what a blast.

 

I think you get there even EARLIER just because rush hour is so iffy and you don't want to get stuck.

 

As much as I love Spaced and the energy they bring, I do have to say Pool Kids blew every other band out of the water for me, was my first time seeing them.

I agree. It’s my third time seeing them. They put on such a good show.

 

Towards the end tonight, the singer asked the crowd if we wanted song one or song two. People put up fingers to vote. He said he was picking song two… then the band played Song 2 by Blur in full. Amazing.

 

I know Militarie Gun is hardcore adjacent with a big asterisk on it, but man you'd think the Chicago crowd had never seen a hardcore band for Spaced's set
