the new fiddlehead track played after this on autoplay and it immediately made me wish any of the tracks here were that upbeat

 

I like this record and it will probably grow on me but I feel like agree with this. “Do It Faster” is one of my favorite songs of the year, and it feels like the song that has the most sense of urgency.

 

I will say the back to back of “seizure of assets” and “never fucked up once” is really really good

 

half these songs are under 2 and a half minutes but drag on forever

That was my main impression from catching them live - single-idea songs stretched to their limit.

 

yeah the first two singles are still great. i don’t really like will logic at all.

 

liked both those tracks a lot, for sure.

the ones that don’t work for me are will logic, think less, return policy, and see you around. i’m torn on the new big disappointment but i don’t think i dislike it.

 

I like this way more than fiddlehead. Also way more than the hardcore stuff

 

Same honestly

 

I was a little hesitant because of just how much I loved All Roads Lead to the Gun but after a few listens to this I’m super into it. Perfect summer record.

 

This, Origami Angel, and YC all in one summer. Wild.

 

This band reminds me so much of I Am The Avalanche but with fewer ideas. Album still rocks, great for a bike ride today. “Never Fucked Up Once” is the one!

This is basically a singles album and that is okay!

 

I have to agree with Pat on this one. The first two singles are bangers. There are a few other really good songs. But at least half of this is just kinda whatever.

 

I was really skeptical going into this because I absolutely loved All Roads Lead to the Gun, and while I liked the singles they didn't have that kind of energy. After listening to this album a few times, my fears were totally unfounded. This is a perfect summer record.

 

I was super hyped for this release after the first two amazing singles but I feel like the rest of this record doesn’t live up to it at all.

Maybe it’ll catch on after repeat listens but so far I’m pretty underwhelmed.

After a couple of listens so far, this is probably my favorite non-hardcore or metal album of the year.

 

I was iffy on it sounding super same-y the first listen or two but listened with headphones while doing yard work and after a beer league hockey game last night and I just bought the vinyl. shit slaps.

 

I'm gonna keep spinning it and hope it grows on me more, bc the songs I like, I REALLY like
