When I first listened to these guys I thought the singer was Patrick Kindlon of Drug Church and Self Defense Family.
just hitting play now, but my only gripe I have atm is that they didn't intersperse the singles throughout the track listing and just dropped the first 3 songs in that order
That’s how it goes these days with streaming. But those first three songs along with seizure, never fucked up, the redone version of big disappointment, and the title track are the strongest songs.
Went to the record release show last week at Brain Dead. It was cool seeing some of the unreleased stuff then. Never Fucked Up Once is such a great song. Album rules and it will be one of my favorites by year's end. Having been to some of their earliest shows in 2021 through now, its crazy seeing how fast the trajectory of the band has been.
pretty bummed i don't like this as much as i'd hoped. i think on an EPs length they're about as good as music gets for me but stretched out to a full length, it's pretty lacking. half these songs are under 2 and a half minutes but drag on forever, though strangely, my favorite track is the longest here lol. i think if you cut like six of these songs it'd be their strongest release but there's a lot of "filler" for lack of a better word. my anticipation might have been set too high though, i was expecting AOTY material
