Very bass driven album and I love that. The last minute of I Won’t Murder Your Friend is so rad.

I loved LUTG but yeah first impression is that this is a big step up. Really, really good. Wish it had come out during the summer though!

Running a half marathon in a couple weeks and I made a playlist yesterday that this is going to completely disrupt lol

Yeah this rips. Somehow I think they saved the catchiest songs for the album? Kick and Laugh at Me have some of the most straightforward hooks they’ve ever written.

Agreed - very glad that some of the biggest/best tracks were not the singles!

Sorry for the double post but I’m on my second listen and yeah I am actually shocked by how good this is. I was really looking forward to it, but damn, definitely exceeded expectations by a large margin.

I loved every track on LUTG as stand-alone songs but always found a full album sit-through to be a challenge because of how similar some of the tracks were...

But this is a huge step up. The highs are way higher. And the production is a huge add here.

Full aside but I'm getting some major Stone Temple Pilots vibes from the instrumentals on "I Won't Murder Your Friend." Especially the last 45 seconds or so.

This is already a strong AOTY contender for me, TBH.
