I'm ready to say it, Plastic Hearts is her best album. Also it occurred to me today that a Vegas residency is inevitable and I will be in attendance.
Love PH but it’s just too all over the place, same with her most recent album. Too many genres and it never feels quite cohesive. Younger Now didn’t get much play but at least it had a through line for the most part. My fav is her dead petz era which I know is an incredibly unpopular opinion. I know she said she’s done touring so a residency would def be ideal. I’d def fly out to Vegas to see her, she has such a wide appeal that residency would do great numbers. Give her some weekends at the Sphere!
Idk I don’t personally feel like PH is that all over the place. It’s mostly pop rock and ballads. But I mean I get the argument. ESV I agree is a little less cohesive, but there’s plenty to love. But I’m actually with you on Dead Petz. My favorite 10 or so songs from that are constantly in my rotation. She really went for it. I was at one of the three (I think) shows she did for it and it’s a core memory.
I simultaneously can’t explain but know exactly why Miley means so much to me. I’m damn near in tears listening to her feature on Beyonces album. It feels so validating because.. well it’s Beyoncé! And following her Grammy win. Idk… I love her
