I keep coming back to Handstand, I love the layered vocals.

 

Ya I’ve decided I’m firmly in love with this. Island doesn’t work for me, and You and Wonder Woman are good not great. But everything else is exactly what I want.

 

See I really like “You”. It feels like her trying to sing her version of a classic song that anyone could cover, the way The 1975 talk about the intention behind “All I Want To Hear”.

 

"Handstand" fucking GOESSSSSS. Her coolest and most interesting song in a long time

 

the run of You-Handstand-River-Violet Chemistry is super strong

 

Jaded is gonna be stuck in my head for a week

 

"Island" being a very Island-vibes song is a bit too on the nose, but it's gonna be a perfect summer beach playlist track

 

I’m really surprised at the comments here relating to this one as it is quite easily my least favorite song on the record.

 

The album started super strong but lost me after You. I’m going to run it back but kind of let down by this project in its entirety after first listen.

 

Sounds like your problem is bad taste in music

 

This album is very good

 

Still loving this, but now I'm doing a Miley binge and I just have to say Slide Away should've been one of the biggest hits of her career

Also #GETITRIGHT should've been a single

 

This album is fun. It's outside of my wheelhouse, but I'm glad I took the time to sit with it.

 

I want to take a minute to formally retract my statement about You. After some time to reflect, I realize it doesn't represent what I believe. You is a great song, a true classic.

 

finally got around to giving this a listen today, and yeah this is great. gonna be a warm weather go to for a good bit.

 

Definitely could bring some controversy that the super bowl loves haha
