Yeah finally got around to this and it's really great. I'm super happy for Mike, he's always been my favorite part of LP (and has always seemed like an incredibly cool guy) and the fact that this has been such a success so far makes me happy. Really rooting for him

 

Hadn't heard about this album until I saw the review article on the main page. It's good. The opening track really hit me on an emotional level. Credit to him for releasing such an honest album.

 

Mike Shinoda released two bSides from POst Traumatic. One of them is SUPER dark. It’s about the lyrics to the Linkin Park songs Chester wrote and how mike didn’t realize what they meant and all the pain he feels now knowing but realizing only people who been there can understand them

I listened to Mikes album a lot this week for the first time since it’s initial release. It’s really solid album and I feel it has clicked with me more this time around. It hits hard with the lyrical content and quite heartbreaking actually. Massive respect for Mike, he’s always come across a great humble guy.

Will check the new b-sides out for sure.

 

I only just found out about this because I saw a tour poster somewhere around here (huge venue by the way). I expected this to be a rap album, a little surprised at what I'm hearing.

 

Broad isn’t it? I think there is something for everyone on there.

Wild. I would have put money on something Linkin Park related coming next but I guess we did get the Hybrid Theory 20 year anniversary box set. I’m down for more of Mike’s solo stuff though. Really enjoyed his first album and I go back to it often.
