Mike Shinoda - Post Traumatic (June 15, 2018) Album

Post Traumatic is the upcoming debut solo studio album by Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda, dealing with his traumatic experiences in life including the death of Chester Bennington.

 

Everything so far has been heartbreaking, but high quality, definitely looking forward to hearing the whole project

 

Agree on this. The songs we have heard have been heart breaking, emotionally powerful songs. But they are also of a very high quality and Catchy in some aspects, and it’s really excellent and earnest work. It’s shaping up to be something special

 

Pretty much everything but About You so far has been top tier stuff. I'm willing to stick my neck out and say Nothing Makes Sense Anymore and Place To Start are two of the best songs Mike has EVER written.

 

Over Again is up there too

 

Yeah, I’m also excited for this. I’ll admit I haven’t been following this super closely because of how busy I’ve been plus how much music is coming out, but everything I’ve heard so far is solid. Can’t wait to hear the whole album.

 

I am so happy I preordered

 

Love Mike and will support anything he does. Looking forward to giving the album a spin.

 

Mike has always been my favorite part of LP and every song so far has been great so I'm really excited for this

 

Just listened to everything that's on Spotify and I'm loving these songs. Nothing Makes Sense Anymore and Crossing A Line are so damn catchy. I'm getting a real Linkin Park + Childish Gambino vibe from this project so far.

Honestly I'm surprised this doesn't have more buzz on this site. Very impressed with the album.

 

I like this more than most LP albums. Definitely more than the Fort Minor album

I.O.U. goes hard as fuck

 

Need to give this a listen. Lyrically it sounds heartbreaking.

Hopefully it offers some closure for Mike.

 

Haven't listened to the full thing, but I like how some of the new songs sound like something that could have been written by the Doomtree crew, especially by Dessa and Sims.

 

Now I am VERY excited to listen to this record.
