Slippery is so good

 

Zaytoven is on point as always. No song really stuck out to me as being amazing, but a lot of their songs/weird quirks in them grow on me after repeated listens. Also listening quietly in an empty classroom isn't the best way to experience a Migos album.

Yeah, on Get Right Witcha. Had to replay it, was like... going to Thailand with the what now? Ah fuck.

 

This is the group that made Chinatown, on which one of them ad-libs "Ching Chong". I'm not saying it's okay, I'm just not surprised.

Besides all that, I think it's a prettty good album. I do want to point out that the phrase "for the culture" has become a hollow meme.

The way Gucci flows on the beat for Slippery is so smooth. I love it.

 

Really love this. Only weak parts are Travis' verse and parts of T-Shirt. The intro is also kind of a weird concept but the song is still hard.

 

I get kind of annoyed when the dude makes the errrgh braking sound in every track

Haha. I hadn't listened to Migos until yesterday and DJ Khaled did not leave a good impression on the first track, so give me a few days and I'll be back in the thread, singing praises

This is projected to sell 70-80k first week

About what I expected but still fucking awesome for them. Wikipedia says their debut album sold around 14k first week. I can see this doing more like 90k.

 

Call Casting is so good, fucking love that beat its wild

 

I don't know why but I just really love the way Quavo starts his verse for that song.

 

Quavo name-dropping Andy Milonakis is probably one of the best things to happen in 2017 so far

 

Didn't realize the Migos are all related, Quavo being the oldest. Makes sense why he is always seen as the head honcho.

 

After listening a few times I actually like that Khaled intro haha. I like Khaled he's fun as hell.

 

This is p good. Didn't hear that racial slur that others were talking about, but I'm sure it's there. Which is gross.
