It was such a fun venue. I loved the two stages. My first show was also there. From Autumn to Ashes. Got kicked square in the chest during a Nora set lol. What I wouldn't give to be 13 again.
I feel like Birch and Club Krome were my go to venues back in the day. Saw some great shows at those two places.
Birch was so much better than Krome... It was just so amazing seeing these same bands for 12 bucks that still were just realizing everyone knew there songs. If jersey blasted you, you were going to get big. I was at Birch almost every weekend, was so sad I got back from college and its gone.
Krome sucked because they made you pay for both shows most the time. There were a few times I got away with sneaking between. Bleeding through and death by stereo were playing the mainstage and the casualties and the virus were playing alt. That was a fun ass night.
lol if anyone wants to buy two tickets to Sat in NJ so that I can just drive 20 mins to Worcester lmk
smart man. In the interviews the band has been doing this sounds like it may be like a yearly show in NJ thing. really happy about that
I recently rewatched One Hour Photo for the first time in such a long time, and I finally realized the cover to Forget What You Know is an homage to the movie. I remember reading somewhere that the album cover was a movie reference. It's only taken me 18 years to figure it out on my own. Goddamn. Still a great a movie. I adore FWYK a little more now.
Forget What You Know vinyl repress: https://a.co/d/8Aza1MS Gold indie variant is out there for preorder but sold out at Bullmoose, so far.
JUST GOT MY TICKET!!!! Hell Yes! I have a ticket to the December show, but this is the most excited I am to see a band ever in my adulthood.
Got my ticket for next week and both NJ shows in December. Beyond pumped to see this hometown heros again. Been too long.
