Can not wait! Beyond pumped for anything. Will book a flight tomorrow if need be. Cancel vacations, whatever needs to be done.
Curious to see what this all will entail. But I'd definitely settle for a run of reunion shows. If that's the case, I gotta figure out how to attend at least one of them. It would be pretty wild if they were one of the openers for dates on that MCR tour... I doubt that'll happen. But it would be really cool if it did.
I don't see that happening for a few reasons. They aren't big enough or relevant enough for that. Give us long time fans a full set, not 35 minute opening set. Some of us are pushing or over 40 and would rather a smaller, intimate tour/shows. Even if just East Coast. But if its for MCR, I'd still go. Anything to see Midtown live again.
Gabe seemed over it awhile ago. Things can change but I'm not holding my breath. With that said, I'm not sure why they weren't bigger.
Yeah, I definitely don't think that's happening. Was just saying it would be kinda cool if it did. For the band. I'm down for whatever so long as I can hit up a show.
I was just listening to Forget What You Know yesterday and daydreaming of them touring again. This is wild. Is this a sign? God? Are you there? I don’t even think new music is on the table but if they ever did a tour - I would lose my mind.
I kinda doubt it’s just represses, while I’m sure that’ll happen, their records just recently started getting harder to get within the last year and a half or so. FWYK hung around in the isurrender merch store for years. We’ll see what fest convinced them to come out again.
That was my initial thought. But that tease also sounded like a way bigger band. And as much as I love Midtown, they weren’t that big…I guess we shall see!
i think its more. especially with Heath posting on his ig a few days ago "band practice" and a photo of his pedals.
Most likely related to 20 years of Living Well is the Best Revenge which is coming up in April. Fuck, I am old, I bought that album junior year of High School. One off shows and a huge repress. Gabe doesn't see open to a full reunion tour, seems like he enjoys dropping nuggets of nostalgia and getting out before it is over saturated.
