Yeah don’t get me wrong I love the movie but I’m not dropping $30+ extra for a picture book and a foreword by Scorsese
I feel like if I had a BluRay player (and a record player for vinyls) and a job I'd be spending so much more money on stuff haha
Oh yes, collecting is truly a money pit but if you love it, it almost justifies itself. Until bill time comes in, then well....
Haven’t seen the directors cut yet and I do love me a nice physical copy. Also bought the Ramy Youseff zine.
Nah, the most recent console I have is a PS1 haha. I game on PC, but I miss out on those sweet PlayStation exclusives
I think that write up is going to be the thing that finally gets me to watch Hereditary. Again, in broad daylight, on a sunny day, with all of the windows open.
I've only seen it in theaters and I am scared to watch it again. 90% because I am afraid it won't hold up to my first impression - 10% because its too sp00ky.
Made me love the film even more. The second time I watched this, Reynor’s performance definitely stood out more, especially when he’s being drugged in that scene.
Wow, this is identical to my theater experience and what we talked about at length back then. That sustained over the top laughter still sticks with me.
I love directors that are able to subvert audience expectation and reactions and utilize that as part of their social commentary/moral of the story. Hope that makes sense on this sunday morning lol
Found a video of someone unboxing the director's cut if anyone else is interested to see. Waaaaaaaant. Edit: NSFW artwork btw
