I liked but didn’t love this.

 

I think they go deeper in this feeling in the script, really enjoy how that part is written out even tho its mostly cut

 

Well that was unsettling as hell and will definitely leave a mark and holy hell I would have left their commune after the first day.


... but i still want to try some of their tea.

 

Appreciating the themes of this movie even more after reading up on it:

finally got a second viewing of this film last week. Florence Pugh is just fantastic at displaying grief

 

i still need to buy this on itunes for the Director's Cut. still one i think about a lot.

 

I can’t remember who it was, but I saw a tweet that said something to the effect of Florence is so good because she uses her face like she’s not afraid to age it- big wide smiles and frowns and everything that normal people do that causes them to get wrinkles and laugh lines.

 

I love that. Everything she does just seems completely natural, so makes sense

 

she is an expert frowner, for sure

I’m in the mood to watch this again but I don’t know if I can go back to the theatrical cut now. Need that physical release for the director’s.

tzatziki does NOT go with everything. it goes with nothing because it's shite.

 

I partially agree, tzatziki goes only with very few, very certain things.

 

going back to the topic of frowns for 2 seconds the best movie frown of all time is easily Karl Urban in Dredd, which is even more impressive considering he held it for the entire movie

 

But it’s so damn good on those few things

 

Seeing that gif makes me sad/mad that the directors cut isn’t out there for viewing (besides iTunes purchase in US), cause it really fleshes out Josh’s character and the whole storyline between him and Christian
