Everything about the background / trees was amazing, they somehow made it feel so... normal when you focus on anything else, but the moment you look into the background specifically, it's all kinds of fucked up
I find that this movie, visually, really nailed the aspects of how a psychedelic trip actually looks and feels.
The most unsettling, and relatable part of the film for me was when Dani had just taken the shrooms. She becomes immediately triggered when someone mentions family. When I used to smoke or take shrooms I always feared that I would dwell too hard on what was currently bothering me or worse a trauma. Not even something that affected me personally just someone mentioned something super fucked up while I was high. Too real.
