I saw this thing three times and missed that every time

 

I totally saw it. *sniffs own fart*

I feel like this film is already a classic.

 

for sure, top 3 of the year so far for me

 

I have a class with this attractive blonde Norwegian woman and on the first day I heard her talking about the midnight sun and her FB profile is her in a white dress with a flower crown. And so naturally I have to consciously stop myself from bringing up the film to her since she’d would probably get mad at me for conflating Norway and Sweden, but also I’d totally let her kill my friends and stuff me in a bear suit

 

Saw the theatrical once and the director’s cut once and missed it both times. Haunting.

 

That’s a great detail, totally missed it too

 

Definitely a top three of the year for me too

 

My #1 atm with Parasite and OUATIH close behind

 

This BOOKSMART and once upon a time in holly wood are top 3

 

Top three so far in no order are Shoplifters, Parasite and Midsommar. So many promising films from the festivals should start popping up soon though, gonna be a great year

 

Shoplifters came out last year

 

Technically yes but I had virtually no way of being able to see it last year. I typically group films by the year they became available to watch

 

ad astra, hollywood and this, though a spot is reserved for parasite

 

Just pre ordered this through iTunes. hoping I can stay awake to watch tonight

 

Wow, the Director’s Cut truly is soooooooooo much better.

I love this fucking movie

This was the only movie I've ever seen where I was so anxious during it at parts I had to use my inhaler

Incredible. Just astonishing. Can't wait to eventually check out the director's cut

 

The second time around, instead of feeling anxious that something bad was going to happen to Dani, I focused on feeling what she was feeling in every scene, which, in addition to the additional scenes in the director's cut that fleshed things out a bit more, created a more fulfilling experience.

 

now i wanna watch this again

 

Can someone MIB me so I can watch the directors cut not knowing what’s gonna happen? Haha
