I remember being such a high school movie dork when Jennifer’s Body came out and refusing to watch it because “Megan Fox isn’t an actress” Me seeing that movie was a big moment that convinced shitty high school me that maybe all my opinions AREN’T actually correct and that maybe the culture we live in is bad
I just watched Hereditary for the first time after seeing this and I’ve never had less fun watching a movie in my entire life
I made the mistake of seeing it twice in two days while it was in theaters. The second time is much much worse because you know what's coming.
Listening to the score now and wow... it truly is great. Also: I didn’t know this was a real thing! Ättestupa - Wikipedia
I think I’m finally going to see this this weekend. Some parts sound a little too graphic for me but on the whole I’m really interested.
Thanks for the heads up! I talked with a friend who knows my threshold for gore and he said I could probably do it. Most stuff I’m ok with, just don’t do too well with head trauma and I know that’s a big part.
Also, I had to use the bathroom at one point during the movie, and when I got back, someone's hand (forgot who) was being cut open. What happened in the two or so minutes right before that?
