There's a shot towards the end with Florence Pugh in the flower get-up where the flowers take up most of the shot, and I need it on a poster. It's gorgeous and terrifying.
There are not many director's cuts I enjoy better than the original cuts. A few, for sure, but for as much as I love my favorite directors and want them to be able to do whatever they want, sometimes they are well served by some external restraint.
Saw this last night and absolutely loved it. I also woke up in the night mumbling and trying to scream so I guess it gave me nightmares.
Maybe for a few seconds. It used to happen to me all the time as a kid and I was so scared. I never saw like demons in my room or a tree falling through my ceiling like some people though.
yeah some folks in here were talking about shirts they got from online ceramics earlier in the thread around the time the bear in the cage was first announced
browsed through online ceramics last night and they have some really great stuff on there. my budget for t-shirts is like $20 though
They’re fairly true, maybe on the long side. And if you get one that has the full design on the front it’s definitely sort of heavy/sticky. You may want to go up a bit if that would bother you.
Interestingly, this has had the exact opposite effect on me as Hereditary did mentally. Any time I randomly have a thought about this movie it's associated with a feeling that's... pleasant?!?! Like, I'm so happy I've seen this.
I keep thinking about Chris Pratt freaking out to a random guy at the table, and then that guy clapping in his face and making everything way worse. This is a good movie.
My girlfriend said she left the theater feeling refreshed. She ultimately found the film to be sort of uplifting.
Like even though people were burning alive with the creepy dressed up corpses, the score and smile were just so powerful in that moment at the end
This was so good, I saw it on Tuesday night and I'm pretty sure I've thought about it at least once an hour since then lol
