Ugh, that line when he’s like, “Oh yeah, I already told Josh I’m TOTALLY cool with splitting the credit between us,” just made my skin crawl. He’s so insidious.
Well I just strongly disagree with this lol. From the outset I felt his treatment of Dani was far worse than his fight with Josh. By the time he comes out with it I was already firmly cemented in my anti-Christian position
eh i don’t think that it took up enough space to be debatable as unnecessary or anything. at its worst, it helped to better detail the characters and also heightened the tensions between them
I really wish they had left in the fight that Dani and Christian have in the village from the screenplay where she point blank asks him if he doesn't love her and then talks about the psychological stages of the breakup that they're going through. I think letting her have the little bit of aggression makes her feel less passive.
this is way off topic haha but did anyone else see a lil bit of Ed Sheeran in Christian? like physically I don't think that Jack Reynor really resembles him but certain facial expressions in some of the scenes were Ed Sheeranish to me the second time through.
Okay I thought it was me that saw his hair more red in certain scenes than others but that was intentional?
i think that some of it definitely had to do with the perpetually bright landscape that was Halsingland.
I definitely noticed this but i assumed it was just the constant sun lol. my hair is also a dark red but it gets brighter and redder really quickly the more i'm outside
The whole movie I was trying to think where I've seen him before then afterwards when I looked up his credits I hadn't seen him in anything
He was the boyfriend of Mark Wahlberg’s daughter in Transformers Age of Extinction and then he was also in Free Fire (unrated UK film)
