Really zero discernable gain or advantage to watching the trailer for a horror movie. Just going to see this when it comes out. Stoked.
It’s a teaser that gives absolutely zero plot away and gives you an idea of the tone and imagery of the film so there’s considerable gain but go off
I love that it's so bright and colorful, hopefully it's like that throughout the entire movie. And the white letterboxed look is a nice touch, hope it stays like that in the theater. Good teaser and I'm very much looking forward to this.
I'm debating looking up what those paintings and symbols are referencing. Oh yeah, I love the look of the dude with the mask and hair. These visuals look super tight.
Also, any theories as to what she's looking at in the end? Sounds like it could be anything from an orgy to a torture scene or both, haha
Y’all that was way more spoilery than I expected!! Still beautiful though. He ruined clicking and how he’s going to ruin breathing, great.
Hereditary was a dark, shadowy movie. This appears to be the complete opposite of that and I appreciate that 180 in color and visuals. The voiceover was super creepy and absolutely filled me with dread. I was genuinely nervous to see Hereditary in theaters because of the hype and I will no doubt be nervous and tickled to see this with another crowd.
HOW IN THE WORLD IS THAT SPOILERY. This looks so good btw. Looks like some miniatures/sets make a return in one of the scenes.
There are quite a few flashes of things that could be meaningful at what is clearly a late stage of the story. Much like the Hereditary one, they could be tricks or hallucinations or something, but they could also be major emotional moments that we don’t need to know about now. The voice talking and the shots of the crowd dancing and stuff were perfect for setting the mood, it’s the late stuff that goes beyond just a teaser.
