What a fabulous record. I genuinely think a case can be made that Middle Kids are the best band in the world right now.

 

Finally the day has come. Can’t wait to dive in.

 

I’ve somehow never listened to this band (at least I think) so I listened to this new one thanks to this thread. Just wow. I’ve had a void in my life and I didn’t even know it.

Yep I am really enjoying this a lot. I tried not overdoing any singles so the whole thing feels new, even Bootleg Firecracker while feels like it came out a year ago lol

This is really great on first listen

 

Basically my only complaint after one listen is I wish Petition was longer, because it's such a fun opener. Otherwise, this is pretty much exactly what I wanted from this record. The Blessings is so massive.

took me a minute to adjust to how much more polished this is than Today but yeah it goes. they have hooks for absolutely days it's surreal. might have to catch them live in May

 

finally listening and yeah The Blessings is insanely good

 

seeing them in May confirmed. can't fucking wait

 

This album gets better with every listen. Don't see this leaving my rotation any time soon.
